...I bet you're wondering that right now, aren't you!? Yes, I thought you would be! *ahem* When you get right down to the meat-and-bones of the matter, The Gathering does not exist without the fans. The convention is about fans Gathering together, it is run groups of fans, and it relies on the fandom to spread the word to both new and old fans in order to stay alive. To wit, we rely on YOU. Yes, you, the one reading this page. The Gathering needs YOUR help, and the 2021 staff hope you will help out; even the smallest steps can make a big difference. It is easier than you think- all you have to do is pick one little thing to do to help get the word out, and then do it. Use one of our small convention banners as part of your forum signature
or post one of the "I support the Gathering 2021" in a
blog or art space, or better yet, make and use one of your own!
If it comes out well, send it to us so we can add it to our banner
page. Download, print out, and post up copies of the Gathering 2021
Flier around your town, ask local comic book stores if you can leave
a small stack at the counter for patrons to take. Find other places
that Gargoyles fans are likely to be lurking, and do the same there.
Go to other conventions in costume and raise awareness of Gargoyles
and the yearly Gathering of its fans. |
